1  Tell us something inspiring about yourself.

I think one inspiring quality about myself is that I never want to stop. I keep going and pushing for higher ground. I expect the best from myself and work everyday to get where I want to be.

2  What motivated you to take up the challenge to be part of RE/PLAY Dance Edit?

This will be my first dance show and I’m glad that I’m in the hands of Junnosuke Tada who has a unique approach towards movement. I feel that RE/PLAY Dance Edit is very much about the same movement done different ways. Think of a handshake and all the different associations tagged to it.

3  Being part of this Singapore-Japan collaboration, what do you look forward to?

Being thrown in the deep end! I look forward to finding movements unique to me. I want to replay myself to death.

4  By the end of the production, what do you think will resonate in you?

A greater appreciation of what it means to do things. We do the same things everyday – open doors, hand money etc. How would someone do it for the first time and what it would mean to them? After all, imagination is a brilliant thing.
